1. Nature of Services

Underground Mama provides coaching programs, educational workshops, community events, retreats, and personal development training. These services are intended for educational, informational, and personal growth purposes only.

Underground Mama does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or counseling services, and participation in our programs does not create a healthcare provider-patient relationship.

You are solely responsible for your personal decisions, actions, and wellbeing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By booking or purchasing, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and accept that participation in coaching programs, workshops, retreats, and educational events involves personal reflection, group participation, and experiential learning activities. Individual experiences and outcomes vary, and no specific results can be guaranteed.

4. Not a Substitute for Professional Care

Our services are not a replacement for medical treatment, psychiatric care, or licensed therapy. If you require medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other licensed professional services, please consult an appropriately qualified professional.

5. Confidentiality

We treat information submitted through registration forms, coaching programs, workshops, retreats, and community events as confidential. We will not disclose your information without your consent except where required by law or to prevent serious harm.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment is required to confirm your booking. Our current policies:

•Private sessions: payment due at time of booking

•Retreats: deposit required to hold your space; full payment due prior to the event

•Facilitator training: payment plan options available; please inquire

Refunds: Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance may be eligible for a credit toward a future booking. Cancellations within 7 days of a scheduled session or retreat are non-refundable. In rare circumstances, Underground Mama may cancel or reschedule sessions; in such cases, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on undergroundmama.info — including text, videos, course materials, and program frameworks — is the property of Underground Mama and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Underground Mama and Alana Varel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability, in any case, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11.By opting into SMS communications from Underground Mama (Underground Mama LLC), you agree to receive marketing and informational text messages, including appointment confirmations, event reminders, program updates, customer support communications, and promotional messages

Message frequency varies but will not exceed 4 messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
